Rare Ag Consultation services is committed to solving the problems that hinder your businesses' productivity by tackling production design flaws, irrigation and watering mismanagement, spray and fertilization scheduling and plot and/or greenhouse layout design. We also aim to strike a balance between conventional and organic styles of growing that will maximize the productivity from your crop(s) of choice.

Integrated Pest Management

Rare Ag Consulting establishes physical, cultural, biological and chemical processes that are designed to meet clients' needs based upon the crop, location, grower limitations and desired outcome. We focus on the quality focused grower and as such, design preventative cultural and biological control to prevent infestations from starting, saving money and assuring the highest quality yield based on our recommendations. From scouting, IPM plan design and demonstration of implementation, we give clients the tools that are needed to implement the plans we create. We are experienced and insured for agricultural consulting with over five years in nutrient management expertise.

Nutrient Management

Using the 4R technique of nutrient management, we design plans that are agronomically sound and physiologically timely for each stage of the plant's life cycle. Beginning with pH, EC, NPK content, volume, frequency and timing, we make sense of the science of nutrient management so you can conduct the business of implementation and focus on other areas of your operation. Our strategy is to take the meat and spit out the bones from both organic and conventional methods of fertilization so that our farmers and growers spend less money on fertilizer and more time harvesting the increase.

For the cotton, wheat, corn, soybean, peanut, potato and grain farmers, we carry a wide selection of fungicides, insecticides and other products from the brands that you know and trust, such as Syngenta, Bayer Crop Science, BASF, UPL and others. We realize that many farmers will not want to modify the system that has worked for them over the years and to that, we say "No problem". We can sell the products you know and are accustomed to at very competitive prices. We also have a large variety of organic and biological products for those that would like to tap into the higher dollar organic markets.

Specialty Crops

Grape, bush berry, fruit tree, herb, cucurbit farmers and others should take note that we have products that are geared towards increasing brix, yield and overall quality of the plants you grow. We carry plant growth regulators, biological amendments, organic fertilizers, fungicides and insecticides for returning your investment with a high quality harvest. Watermelon, sweet potato, cucurbit, and root grown crops are no problem, as we have seed treatment, soil amendment and effective conventional, fungicides and insecticides for your high quality harvests as well.
